Adult Ministries
Adult Ministries is about meeting together regularly to encourage each other in our walk with Christ. Here at Awake the best way that we meet regularly is through small groups- which includes Bible studies, DNA small groups, prayer group, and fellowship community activities as understood in Scripture.
“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another- and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”
-Hebrews 10:24-25

Adult Bible Study: Sun. @ 4pm
We dig deeper into the Scripture shared during our Sunday morning worship. Our desire with this meeting is that all in attendance will gain a greater understanding of the message and the background information that could not be shared on Sunday morning.
DNA Groups: times vary by group
DNA small groups make up the foundation at Awake of living out our faith in our daily lives. These groups are led by lay members who put their faith in action so that others may be added into the family of God. Join us as your schedule makes sense as we lead each other in growth of grace and knowledge of our Lord.

Prayer: Monday @ 6:30pm
As we seek to become a people after God’s own heart, prayer is the heartbeat of Awake. Laity and Clergy gather every week to pray for our community, our church, government leaders, and however else the Spirit leads us to pray. All are welcome to attend Monday’s at 6:30 pm in the Education Center at Awake Wesleyan.
Check the Calendar
Awake Wesleyan understands that we need to be active members of the community so that we may minister the love of Christ in effective ways. We are involved with Chamber events, the Ministerial Association Harvest Festival, and other community events that happen throughout the year.
“All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had a need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.” Acts 2:44-47
